General terms and conditions are applicable to all courses. Any additional terms and conditions which are course specific are detailed under the course heading.
Participants are asked to show a professional attitude to the courses and to respect both the course leaders and the other members of the class. We encourage the sharing of experience and expertise as we believe that full participation is often the secret to memorable and rewarding learning.
While every care is taken to ensure that the information and advice we share is correct, Gateway Courses cannot accept responsibility for information provided by third parties.

You will be notified of your registration onto a Gateway Course, or series of courses, via email. Initially this will be via Eventbrite our eCommerce partner.
Any e-commerce or transaction fee is included in the advertised price. Eventbrite will also issue a receipt for your purchase.
All Gateway Course are delivered via Zoom. If you have not used Zoom before we advise that you download the Zoom application a day or so before the course.

After your successful registration via Eventbrite, you will receive an automated Course Invitation.
This will provide:
For each Gateway Course that you register onto, you can expect to receive two course invitations.
At all times, Gateway Courses remains the owner of the intellectual property of the study materials. No study materials or any part of them may be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means without the prior written permission of the course leaders, Sam Birkett and Joe Pélissier.
Following receipt by Gateway Courses of the course fee, you have a nonexclusive, non-transferable license to use the study materials strictly for your own educational purpose. You may not modify, copy, reproduce, re-publish, sub-license, sell, upload, broadcast, post, transmit, make available, disseminate or distribute in any way any of the study materials.
Gateway Courses are not recorded, and we request that you do not record the session from the privacy of your own office or home. Anyone who does, will be removed from the session.
Gateway Course is not an awarding body, however we do issue Certificates of Completion which are valid as evidence of study should you wish to include them as part of your Continuing Professional Development (CPD). These will be issued 7 days after completion of a Gateway Course.
Force Majeure is an exceptional circumstance which is beyond Gateway Courses control including for the avoidance of doubt strikes, other industrial disputes, act of God, war, riot, civil commotion, compliance with any law or governmental order, rule, regulation or direction including that of accident, fire, flood, storm, pandemic or epidemic of any disease, terrorist attack, chemical or biological contamination.
In the event of a force majeure arising which prevents or delays the delivery of a Gateway Course and any of its obligations under this agreement, there is no liability in respect of the delivery its obligations as are prevented by the force majeure while it continues.
Gateway reserves the right to cancel a course or change the delivery date for a course. In such cases all participants will be given due notice of the date change. If this is not convenient, Gateway Courses will offer a full refund.
If, for any reason, a course is cancelled outright, Gateway Courses will give a full refund
You can cancel your subscription up to 7 dates before the start of the course. You should do this via Eventbrite who will issue a refund less the Eventbrite transaction fee which Gateway Course cannot recover.
